Other Health Sciences Libraries in Chicago

The Galter Health Sciences Library is a private institution serving the information needs of faculty, staff, students, and alumni of all of the Northwestern University colleges and programs, including persons affiliated with the McGaw medical Center.

Due to limitations in resources and space, the library restricts access to qualified users who present valid identification. The Galter Health Sciences Library extends in-house privileges (use of collection, no borrowing privileges) to the following categories of persons: those who identify the Galter Library as the only resource for needed materials within the metropolitan Chicago area and have made prior arrangements with us to use our materials; and visiting health care professionals who live and work outside the Chicago area.
