  • An easy-to-use system that provides a single point of access to a wide variety of CDC reports, guidelines, and numeric public health data.

  • From the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, this data compilation includes information on prevalence, characteristics, causes, and disabled persons in the workforce.
  • 17. Chicago Department of Public Health
  • Includes links to the community profiles as well as the Chicago Health Alert network containing AIDS/HIV, Tuberculosis, and West Nile Virus Statistics, etc.
  • 20. Community Area Health Profiles
  • Chicago has 77 formally-designated community areas; Community Health Profiles, which are available for each, contain a mix of health status and health resource data. Each profile presents information for the specific community, and in some instances, comparable information for the city as a whole.
