Functional Disease Ontology

What is Functional Disease Ontology (FunDO)?

FunDO is a web server developed by the Northwestern University Biomedical Informatics Core (NUBIC) Facility at Northwestern University's Clinical and Translational Sciences research group (NUCATS) and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center.  It uses the Disease Ontology database structure (also created by NUBIC developers in collaboration with the NUGene Project at the Center for Genetic Medicine at Northwestern).

FunDO allows you to explore disease associations from a list of genes in order to create new hypothesis regarding disease implications for your particular dataset.  You can use disease gene lists taken from any high throughput platform (such as microarray) for your analysis.  Results are returned in a graph with an interactive table.
