Get the Add to GalterLists Button

What is the Add to GalterLists button?
The Add to GalterLists button is a link you add to your browser's Bookmarks Toolbar. It is an easy way to add non-Galter resources to your GalterLists. The button works best in Firefox or Safari.
How do I get the button?

Internet Explorer

  • Right-click this link: Add to GalterLists and select Add to Favorites
  • Click Yes to the Security Alert
  • Click the Create in << button in IE 6 or the Create in drop-down menu in IE 7
  • Select the Links folder
  • Click Add
  • If the Links menu is not showing, go to ViewToolbars – select Links
  • If the Links menu is displaying vertically instead of horizontally, you can drag it to open it up horizontally. (You may need to unlock your toolbars first. Go to View - Toolbars and uncheck Lock the Toolbars)
Note about using the Add to GalterLists button in Internet Explorer: The button will only allow you to add html pages, but not links to PDFs to your GalterList. You can still add pdfs manually in IE by copying the pdf web address into the Add a resource now form (which can be found in introduction text at the top of your list). This is only a problem with IE; the Add to GalterLists button is completely functional in both Firefox and Safari.

Firefox

  • Drag this link: Add to GalterLists up to your Bookmarks Toolbar
  • If the Bookmarks Toolbar is not showing, activate it by going to ViewToolbars – select Bookmarks Toolbar

Safari

  • Drag this link: Add to GalterLists up to your Bookmarks Toolbar
  • If the Bookmarks Toolbar is not showing, activate it by going to ViewToolbars – select Bookmarks Toolbar
