Need to keep up to date with the most current literature in your field? Current awareness services are tools you can use to do just that. This class is an introduction to some of the more popular current awareness services including My NCBI, Ovid AutoAlerts, and Web of Science Citation Alerts.

Class Objectives: At the conclusion of this class the participant will be able to:

• Recognize the difference between Search Alert Services, Citation Alert Services, and Table of Contents Services
• Save searches in Ovid MEDLINE and create Ovid AutoAlerts
• Save searches in PubMed and create search alerts in My NCBI
• Save searches and create email alerts in Web of Science
