This workshop introduces users to Google's advanced searching techniques and tools for accessing scholarly materials on the Web.

CLASS OBJECTIVES: At the completion of this class, the participant will:

• Know how to use the advanced search features of Google to find scholarly materials
• Know how to use Google Scholar and Google Book Search
• Learn about the benefits of having your own iGoogle page
