Library Classes: Allied Health Databases
Geared towards allied health professionals and others, this class focuses on databases such as CINAHL, PsycINFO, AMED (Allied and Complementary Medicine), SPORTDiscus, and Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HaPI).
CLASS OBJECTIVES: At the completion of
this class, the participant will:
- Discover the scope and content of each of the databases: CINAHL, PsycINFO, AMED (Allied and Complementary Medicine), SPORTDiscus, and Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HaPI).
- Learn the similarities and differences between each database and when to use one database over another
- Learn how to select, print, and save results from the databases discussed
