A View from Our Eyes: Photography Exhibit

Alex Uihlein

A photography exhibit organized by Alex Uihlein, 2004-05 Albert Schweitzer Fellow, entitled A View from Our Eyes, will be on display in Dollie’s Corner in the Library through March. The photographs were taken by clients of Lakefront Supportive Housing.

During his fellowship, Alex met weekly with the group and taught them photography and dark room skills to encourage communication, community interaction, personal creativity and self-esteem. Inspired and proud of their accomplishments many said they would continue their photographic endeavor.

The exhibit is sponsored by the Galter Health Sciences Library, the Medical Humanities and Bioethics Program, and the Office of Medical Education, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
