LibQUAL+ Survey, Part 1: The ResultsJames Shedlock, AMLS, AHIP, FMLA, Director, Email JimIn 2007, the Galter Health Sciences Library used the Association of Research Libraries’ LibQUAL+ survey tool to measure users’ perception of the quality of the Galter collections, services and staff. This was the fourth time the survey had been used by the library. The 2007 survey results are particularly noteworthy in that the Galter Library received only positive scores from its users. In other words, there was no score on any of the 22 questions where the library did not meet users’ minimum expectations of quality. Also, as in years past, for some user groups, notably faculty, the library continued to exceed their desired expectations on questions related to library as place. Coming Soon! Brand New Library WebsiteLinda O'Dwyer, MSLIS, Education Librarian, Email LindaYou may have already heard that the Galter Library is currently redesigning its website to be better, stronger and faster. Add to that smarter! The new website will allow users to have more control over their personalized library web page and should facilitate the process of resource discovery in a more intuitive and meaningful way. Here are some of the exciting new features you can expect when the new website is unveiled later this summer: Streamlined home page: our new home page has lost some of the fat, but none of the functionality. Less clutter means you can get to what you need faster and more efficiently. Multimedia Workstation Used to Create PBL Case ContentJim Brucker, MSLIS, Instructional Design Librarian, Email Jim
