Multimedia Workstation Used to Create PBL Case Content

Jim Brucker, MSLIS, Instructional Design Librarian, Email Jim

Did you know that there is a dedicated space on the medical campus where users can digitize and edit video, create stand-alone DVDs, or reuse that multimedia content in other applications, such as PowerPoint?  This resource is located in the Learning Resources Center (LRC) of the Galter Health Sciences Library, in a room behind the main LRC desk.  The Multimedia Workstation is housed in a separate room so that users can work on time-intensive projects without interruption, and leave those projects running without having to worry about someone else using that computer.  You can reserve the room, check out a key, and have sole access to that computer for hours at a time.
