New Electronic Resources for 2008
The Galter Library is constantly striving to update our electronic resources and bring the most current tools to our patrons' desktops. With the new year, the library is continuing to increase its electronic collection. It is anticipated that most of the resources listed will become accessible in early 2008.
Northwestern University libraries have collaboratively licensed this American Society for Microbiology (ASM) Web information resource. Continually updated, it is based on the classic ASM Press publication, Escherichia coli and Salmonella: Cellular and Molecular Biology. It is an archive of the entire corpus of knowledge on the enteric bacterial cell, comprised of several hundred modules of information and interpretation, including the genome database.
Northwestern University libraries have cooperatively licensed dual campus current access to Sage journals (back year files were cooperatively purchased in mid-2007). New biomedical titles not previously licensed that have now become available include:

- American journal of medical quality
- Child maltreatment
- Journal of intensive care medicine
- Neurorehabilitation and neural repair

Individual journal title records, with links, are being added to the online catalog, NUcat as well as the NU libraries' website e-journal lists.
