Construction in the Library: Special Collections andLRC

Construction on the third floor of the Searle Building will affect the Galter Library April 30 - May 25.

The teaching space at the south end of the LRC with be occasionally unavailable from 8AM until Noon during the week of May 21 to 25.

On the second floor, a staff conference room and part of Special Collections, particularly its reading room, will be blocked off.

Historical reference and research services are available in person and by telephone, fax, electronic mail or postal service. Services are available 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Scholars who wish to use the Galter Library's historical materials should contact the Special Collections Librarian prior to visiting the library. Please call 312-503-1913 or 312-503-8109.

May 11 update: All of the necessary construction has not been completed and work will continue at least through next week, May 14 - 18.
