EMBASE trials extended through June 11

EMBASE is a biomedical and pharmacological literature database which is often referred to as the European counterpart to MEDLINE. About 1800 of the approximately 4800 journals indexed in EMBASE are not covered in MEDLINE.  Recognized strengths of EMBASE include thorough indexing of drug and pharmaceutical literature as well as indexing of journals originating in Europe and the Far East. Galter Health Sciences Library has initiated trials to EMBASE through two different vendors—Ovid and Embase.com.

Please take a few moments to test out each search interface and let us know which one you prefer. Hint: It's often helpful to run a search on the same topic in two different databases to get a feel for how each works. After you have run searches in each database please take our short survey.
